The Liberal Who Cried Fascist

I wanted to write a post titled “The Liberal Who Cried Fascist”. Then I did a search and found that someone else had already wrote a post on this. Cool, I’ll just link you there.

As an addendum to that, here is a link to the Wiktionary entry on fascism. It is slightly dismaying that the first definition is marked as “historical”, because to most current people, still (I would hope), that is the primary connection of the term “fascist”. “Fascist” is an extremely strong term, with some terribly strong historical connection. It is the speaker’s duty to make it clear to their specific audience which definition they’re referencing.
