Acid Tears

Painful sounds fell from the tree
Hearing them I woke
Fearful sights soared through my eyes
Escorting black smoke
Abysmal symbol, feel of null
Disharmony of the broke

Panic came, and thus I spoke
Survivors I had sought
The tree that called, and brethren all
Formed a tearless naught

How dare they mangle through cyclic vile
To fell, of all, the cry
How comes the haste in spread of waste
To mock the plea at nigh
Went where the message, amidst winds
Of ulcerated eye

I too can’t help from last of sigh
But drown more livid jeers
Deep within my gushing wounds
Bleeding acid tears
